Location & Directions
WHERE IS SOLANO COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS?
The fairgrounds are located in the San Francisco Bay Area in Vallejo at the intersection of Highways 80 and 37. It is right across the street from Six Flags Marine World. Find it on Google Maps
From San Francisco:
  • Take I-80 East towards Oakland via the Bay Bridge. From San Francisco, it’s about 30 miles to Vallejo.
  • Take the exit for Highway 37 West towards San Rafael/Sonoma/Napa.
  • Exit immediately at Fairgrounds Drive towards Marine World.
  • Turn Left on Fairgrounds Drive, and another left at the second stoplight. You’re there!
 From Sacramento:
  • Take I-80 West towards San Francisco. Solano County Fairgrounds is about 50 miles from Sacramento.
  • Exit Highway 37 West towards San Rafael.
  • Exit immediately at Fairgrounds Drive towards Marine World.
  • Turn Left on Fairgrounds Drive, and another left at the second stoplight. You’re there!
From San Jose:
  • Take I-880 North towards Oakland (about 40 miles).
  • Stay right – take I-980 East towards CA-24/Walnut Creek.
  • Take I-580 West towards San Francisco.
  • Take I-80 East towards Vallejo/Sacramento.
  • Take Highway 37 West towards San Rafael.
  • Exit immediately at Fairgrounds Drive towards Marine World.
  • Turn Left on Fairgrounds Drive, and another left at the second stoplight. You’re there!

The Courtyard by Marriott Vallejo is literally right next door. Try them at 707.644.1200. Or try the Best Western Inn & Suites at Discovery Kingdom. They are located about three miles from the fairgrounds, and they can be reached at 707.554.9655
